Copy Cat-Walk: Kristen Stewart

Read here! http://wp.me/p2X2CO-5I It's prettier! ;)

This week we’ll examine Kristen Stewart’s look at the Twilight Saga: Breaking Down Part 2 photocall at Tokyo. Why Hollywood’s new bad girl? Because she was chosen as the Best Dressed Celebrity Week October 29, 2012 by Vogue US (http://www.vogue.com/fashion/10-best-dressed/10-best-dressed-katy-perry-gwen-stefani-michelle-obama/).

The funny thing is that a couple of years ago everybody hated Kristen’s style (some still do), but she’s finding her way through, wanna see?

Who is Kristen Stewart?

You might know her as “Bella”, which is the name of the Twilight Saga character that made her famous. You also might have heard of her as “Robert Pattinson’s evil ex” (who was her co-star at Twilight, by the way), since she cheated on him recently with the producer of a movie she was staring (“Snow White and the Huntsman”). Oh! So yeah, you might know her as “Snow White” too.

What is she wearing?

Louis Vuitton geometric top and short. I love geometry, because for most of us, that’s how beauty is conceived: by the geometry of the face or the body. Lately this conception has been changing which is perfect because now everything with the right amount of good taste can be conceived as beautiful, but still, the geometric standards are a classic.

Let’s begin with the top, shall we? Do you see how the white parts themselves sort of shape a t-shirt? Give it a try and ignore the black, what do you see? A super skinny Kristen! The black sort of camouflage and make shadows all over the upper part of the actress’ body, but because the white part on the front is larger, her face lights up, making her look happier and younger.

The shorts are lovely just because I love mini shorts. They did the same thing here, see? Both sides of the garment are marked with white patches that give the impression of a little short for pretty slim people. Also, they are worn somewhere between the waist and the hips, which makes us think she’s actually wearing the shorts at her hips and she’s got longer legs. High heels will always support this illusion.

The bonus here comes with the matching of the short and the top, how they compliment each other perfectly to accomplish their goal: a super stylized Kristen.

How to copy?

Buy bicolor tops, pants, jeans, dresses, shorts or skirts which both sides are marked with patches of the same color, while the rest of the piece remains another.

Wear your pants, jeans, shorts and skirts somewhere between your hips and your waist or at your waist if you want to make your legs look longer.

Finally, black and white are a killing combo! Why? A classic!

I’m totally applying Kristen’s knowledge on my wardrobe, and you?

Hope you liked this post, crazy diamonds! Dream on and shine all over! See you Thursday!
